The Fireside Chat Educational series was started by accident in 2015 after a venue hosting our scheduled workshop double-booked, and we found out on arrival. My only option was to realize that the most important goal for this gathering was a space to connect and learn, and that maybe this was an opportunity. Off we went across the street to the beach where we brought over the wine, and someone rushed off to get some DIY charcuterie, plates, cups and a couple dozen cheap beach blankets from Rite Aid. We took off our shoes, felt the sand between our toes and built a small campfire (which may or may not have been legal).  What happened was magical: around the flames as stars came out, cliques were dissolved, people brought their full authentic selves and fully relaxed into not just learning, but sharing and supporting each other.  The workshop became a mastermind session where wedding planners, event partners & hospitality professionals participated in community, collaboration and inspiration. "Fireside Wine With a Wedding Planner" was born and enjoyed several years of local fame before it went to the next level and we evolved the name and audience reach.​

Inspired by the 17th century French "salon" concept, we took our Fireside Series and re-imagined it. With connection & learning as the central element of gathering, we now have added various spaces, each serving a distinct purpose and unique immersive experience depending on our client's goal.  We provide entertainment, and the fireside element is at the central heart of the foundation of the entire event.  With the latest technology, we don't even have to be outside to be "fireside" to create that same learning vibe and authenticity that happened at the first Fireside Chat educational session back on the beach in 2015.
